Statement Concerning COVID-19

To Our Valued Partners:

This message is to assure you that the safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers is and will always remain our highest priority. We want to assure you that we are open for business and look forward to assisting you through these difficult times.

As you know, numerous states are issuing emergency orders requiring all business and organizations that do not provide “COVID-19 Essential Services” to close their physical workplaces. This message is to assure you that Banner Industries is considered an “Essential Business” aligned with the “Critical Manufacturing Sector” and the Department of Homeland Security. Our distribution locations service numerous Critical Infrastructure Sectors including Chemical, Defense, General Industrial, Energy, Transportation, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, and Semiconductor industries. The complete scope of the Critical Infrastructure Sector can be found here. In addition to the information on the CISA.gov website, we have also been contacted by many critical customers, who have provided us with documentation of their status and their dependence on our operations.

Banner Industries continues to monitor the latest updates and information about the global COVID-19 pandemic. We are strictly following and exceeding the guidelines set forth by the CDC, WHO, and local health groups in the regions where we work, to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, and preserve our ability to operate. Measures have been implemented across all of our locations in the US and in Singapore to help prevent the spread of this virus. We will continue to take appropriate action as this situation continues to unfold.

Our team has developed business continuity plans to ensure that Banner will have sufficient resources to safely maintain our critical operations and continue to ship products to our valued customers. We have implemented a plan to limit personnel access only to operating areas related to their individual scopes and to further protect and support all personnel who are needed to run our now segmented areas within the distribution processes. Those who can work remotely are doing so to minimize any potential virus transmission between employees.

All customer, supplier, and other outside vendor visits have been moved to telephone and or web-based meetings. Shipping, receiving, and any delivery functions are now limited to essential and very distanced interactions only. All business travel has been suspended. Mandatory quarantines will be in place for any employees who travel personally or professionally into areas of concern, who are suffering from flu-like symptoms, or who believe for any reason they may have been exposed to COVID-19. We ask the same of all of our customers and suppliers to mitigate the risk of spread of this virus into our operational areas.

We deeply understand how important our products are to your business and we remain committed and dedicated to providing the superior service and support you have come to expect of our company. We assure you that our team is working with our suppliers on a daily basis to reassess this situation, and to anticipate and address any potential slowdown in deliveries. Please keep in mind that we do have many office and warehouse locations that can serve as alternate shipping and customer support locations for any potentially impacted regions, if necessary.

Again, the safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers is and will always remain our absolute highest priority. Our situation remains very dynamic, and we encourage you to visit this page for continuous updates on these matters.

Sincerely,

Bud Richard
CEO

We are asking employees to stay home if they are feeling sick. We have developed operational continuity plans to ensure we have sufficient resources to keep offices running safely and products shipping to our customers.

WHO and CDC have advised that the risk for transmission of the virus via packages is minimal; however, we are taking additional measures to ensure our packages are properly handled for customer safety.
